Something’s definitely changed in the northern hemisphere, the season and the year moves on. Some glorious days and cool misty mornings, the daffodils are dancing everywhere and the hyacinths vibrate with glorious shades of purple. Last Tuesday we were blessed with the most stunning sunny day when we took ourselves along Loch Turret and up Ben Chonzie. I finally got my dose of big snow ! (Smile, smile, smile). The malt loaf and, from the flask, my much revered Red Pepper and Tomato Soup with homegrown peppers and chillies and fresh basil went down a rare treat. We built snow people and had an utterly delightful time sledging down some great slopes on our emergency bags. Fun, fun, fun all the way. Unfortunately someone had moved the hot tub (Les !).
The company was of course divine.
This weekend is the spring equinox. A time to celebrate the renewed life of the earth, to plant, to rejoice in the growing light and cherish the sun.
Enjoy !
