Earth Is Enough
We kin of Earth have here the stuff
Of Paradise – we have enough!
We need no other stones to build
The Temple of the Unfulfilled –
No other ivory for the doors –
No other marble for the floors –
No other cedar for the beam
And dome of our immortal dream.
Here on the paths of every-day –
Here on the common human way
Is all the stuff the gods would take
To build a Heaven, to mold and make
New Edens. Ours is the stuff sublime
To build Eternity in time!
Two posts in such rapid succession mean something has happenend.
I never thought I would see the day when Newsnight opened with Alistair Darling, The Chancellor of the Exchequor, as Dorothy. That Jeremy would quote from The Wizard of Oz. And such things would be announced. You heard it here first – the world has officially gone mad.
In times such as these the best of the human spirit must come forth. I continue to offer spiritual leadership in the effort of New Edens.
I give great thanks for the earth that begets, nourishes and sustains us.
